Matt Holland is a screenwriter, story editor and script doctor from Montreal. His writing credits include short films : Drop Off, Whistleblowers Anonymous; episodic television : Moose TV; and feature film : Gone Dark (a.k.a The Limit). Matt has also worked extensively as a development executive, serving as a television content analyst for Telefilm Canada and, more recently, as a manager of development and production for the CTV network. He is a Communication and Creative Writing graduate of Concordia University and a graduate of both the Writer’s Lab and the Professional Screenwriting Program at The Canadian Film Centre.

MATHIEU HOLLAND est scénariste, conseiller à la scénarisation et acteur. Il travaille tant au cinéma, en théâtre, à la télévision et dans de nombreux commerciaux. Il a joué entre autres dans les films: The Aviator, Secret Window, Piché: Entre Ciel et Terre, The Day After Tomorrow, Funkytown, The Terminal, Source Code et Upside Down. Mathieu est diplômé du renommé Canadian Film Centre de Toronto. En plus d’avoir écrit deux courts métrages, Drop Off et Whistleblowers Anonymous, présentés dans de nombreux festivals et diffusés à la télévision nationale, Mathieu a écrit le long métrage Gone Dark (The Limit), mettant en vedette Lauren Bacall, Claire Forlani et Pete Postlethwaite. Ce film a été présenté en première au FFM. Il a écrit un épisode et supervisé l’écriture de trois épisodes de Moose TV, diffusé sur Showcase. Mathieu a été directeur du développement à CTV.

Matt’s various screenplays have been awarded two Praxis Fellowships, production financing from the OMDC
(Ontario Media Development Corporation) and development support from Telefilm Canada, la SODEC and The Harold Greenberg Fund.
